It's always a beautiful day when you get to sew up something beautiful! Riley Blake Designs has a brand new collection, Beautiful Day and we are smitten!
Beautiful Day, by Echo Park Paper Co. is filled with beautiful florals, plaids and daisies in a fresh color palette of black, sea glass, blue, geranium and yellow.
I actually had a very hard time choosing which prints I wanted to use but in the end I went with the buzzing bees in blue for a sweet and simple summer dress.
Since those adorable little bees remind me of everything summer I chose one of our newest patterns from the mini summer collection, Sunflower. This pattern features a drop waist, an elastic back for an easy fit and optional inseam pockets. Sunflower has 5 different skirt lengths…peplum, vintage, dress, cascading dress and maxi.
This pattern also features dainty straps that tie on top of the shoulders or at the upper back. I chose the cross over straps for this dress, however the pattern also comes with straight straps.
