Ring around the Rosie pocket full of posies...I recently received the prettiest fabric from Riley Blake Designs. Poppy and Posey, by Dodi Lee Poulson, is filled with stunning florals in a dreamy color palette of various shades of blue, periwinkle, coral, pink and green.
We recently released the Laurel dress and I knew this collection would be perfect with this pattern. Laurel is is easily identified by its unique tie collar. Laurel comes in three lengths: top, vintage or dress. The sleeves are a sweet puff sleeve with an elastic casing or optional sleeveless. With all of the options that Laurel offers, it will be perfect for any season.
For the first Laurel I made I used the Poppy & Posey Buds in Amethyst and paired it with Poppy & Posey Stripes in sea glass for the tie collar. I love the delicate daisies and the pop of color the stripes brings to the outfit. I wanted each outfit to have it's own unique look so I cut the vintage skirt 2 lengths shorter to create a tunic and it is LOVE!
For my next dress, I used the Poppy & Posey Garden in mint and also paired it with the Poppy & Posey Strips in sea glass to bring all the outfits together. I used the sleeveless dress and cut the skirt about 12 inches longer. Then I added four 1" pleats at the bottom of the skirt to give it some texture.
Don't you love how it it changes the look of the dress!?!
I had just enough of the Poppy & Posey Main in Amethyst to make this adorable size 4 short sleeve top. She loves getting to take photos with the big girls so I couldn't leave her out!
