Getting Creative with Sunflower Seams Patterns for School Uniforms

We all love using these beautiful Sunflower Seams patterns to create amazing looks for our kiddos! But if your kids are anything like mine, day to day we have to wear a uniform once school starts back up.

I don’t know about you but I still feel the need to be creative, but don’t want to end up with a closet full of dresses that can’t be worn! Thank goodness for Sunflower Seams, because I can use their amazing patterns to create beautiful (and well fitting) uniforms for my little girl!

There are so many Sunflower Seams that are incredibly well suited for uniform pieces including- Pine polo, Elm, Alder, Blue Star trousers, palm skort, Rue, Lilly, Silene, Gardenia,Thyme and Magnolia to name a few.

I am going to use Gardenia and Lily as tops, Silene  and Thyme as a pinafores to create a mix n match Uniform capsule so we can create different looks for all the days of school!

My Silene will be a simple hunter green pinafore; For Lilly I plan to do in her school plaid with ruffle collar; Gardenia in white with peter pan collar and short sleeves; A khaki corduroy jumper from Thyme.

What unique school looks are you planning to create for your kids this year? Share your creativity and uniform ideas with us!

Happy Sewing!
