This fun new fabric collection from Riley Blake definitely has me counting down the days for summer break, how about you!?!
Rainbow Fruit by Damask Love is full of bright and bold colors. It features quirky and whimsical sweet treats in a palette of pink, blue, and yellow.
With so many fun prints, I had a hard time choosing which ones to use so I let my nine year old do the picking for this one. She chose Rainbow Fruit Main in Aqua and Rainbow Calories Don't Count in Blue.
A few weeks ago we released two new patterns in our mini summer collection and I knew Willow would be the perfect dress.
Willow is a beautiful summer sundress adorned with straps that criss-cross in the back and attach by buttons or by tying into a bow, three skirt lengths: regular, vintage, or mini and the cutest bloomers.
I cut the vintage length and dress length to create a double skirt. It adds a fun layer to the dress and allowed me to use more of those fun stripes.
I love the open back on Willow, it's perfect for our hot summer days. My daughter asked that I make the flutter straps that attach with buttons. (I'll let you in on a little secret, I actually used snaps. They are so quick an easy and my daughter prefers them over buttons.)
A popsicle dress isn't complete without an actual popsicle. We headed over to the new popsicle shop in our neighborhood and enjoyed a delicious treat!
Rainbow Fruit by Damask Love is on its way to your favorite local and online quilt shops. Pre-order yours today to get your hands on one of these yummy bundles of cuteness.
